Fred thanks for the info. Yes that is a very delicate operation,. Both the front and back supports were broken. I had already tried and failed miserably to fix it. Hi
John H. Thanks for the offer but Bob (thank you) had already checked with Newark and they had 3 replacements left (and I have the old face plate) So I have purchased 2 so I am covered no matter what! The part number for the meter was a great help!
Something associated with the preselector seemed to give way as well but I was less worried with that than the meter. Once the meter arrives and is installed then I can fully investigate the apparent presellector issue.
Fred, when I get back to the house to install the meter I will forward you pics of the front of the rig as well as one of the serial number. No problem.
