You can find a lot of this info in the newsletters which are archived on the Signal One website. The news letters are well worth reading in their own right and will give you a lot of insight into the Signal One story. My own radio is one such CX-7 having left the factory as a CX-7 and then being upgraded though I have none of the documentation to tell me who actually did the upgrades. The next true iteration was the CX-11 which pushed Signal One's cutting edge philosophy even further. Hope this helps.
