Hi guys,

Please note that the speakers for the CX-7 series xcvrs have a "fold over" seam on both sides. 

The CX-11 series xcvrs do not have that. The later speakers are flat on each side.

If you go to W0YVA's website you will see that he has a CX-11A matched with a CX-7 series speaker. 

Very few speakers around..good luck finding one! 

As to the mike, the Electrovoice 664
can be found on eBay and qth.com often?

He Ed, from Antioch, IL, the Gateway to the Chain of Lakes.....

Still waiting to hear someone up here in Antioch, IL on the net.  I heard one fellow on the net yesterday but then he faded away...
On the speakers... I would trade a new looking case for a speaker, hi hi.
Got my first one running - will be burning it in till the fall then align it.  The second one is on the bench now, lord knows when that one will be on the air.
