[SignalOne] need help with early cx-7

 My name is Dale ,Iam the vp of the FT.myers radio club. A sk's wife sent over some equipment that belonged to het late husband,N4FGG. Among the rigs is a cx-7, sn # 00990. I put the rig on the bench and after a little switch and contact cleaning ,she came to life. Everything on the receive side seems fine , going to the tune operation, produced a tiny meter movement ,nothing close to the manual specs,went no further. She wants to sell the rig and the other gear at the FMARC  hamfest this sat, in ft myers,fl.  I guess my question is , If we sell it for her ,what would be a realistic price to ask? the cosmetics of the rig are a easy 8.5+/10. 
   Also I realize that there are Signal-One collectors and users,just like for my collins gear. I would hate to see some cracker buy this rig for parts or hack it on Ebay. and would like the sk's XYL to get a decent return for her radio. Have the full operations and also the full service,mannual for the rig. 
    Any input on the rig and its value or interest in buying ,we would be grateful.
