Yes, Happy New Year to all. I've sent along a little video clip of one of
the former Signal-One technicians who it appears to have moved on to bigger
and better things.
I think he still takes on some of the CX7's if you dare.
Just Kidding!

Really great to see the sudden traffic here. My CX7 is on just about every
week for our club 15M net at 21.331, 7PM Chicago time on Wednesdays. It
would be great to try for a regular net again, Fred. Don't know which band
would give the best results right now. We have AT&T U-Verse here now and the
CX7 knocks out the digital phone part when I operate 40M. Doesn't bother the
Internet or TV, just the phone service. My Orion does not cause this problem
so I assume it is some freq. generated only in the CX7 and not the actual
40M output freq.. Anyway, would like to try for a net again as long as it
isn't on 40M, HI!
Wonder if you did have a get together at Dayton last year, Fred. I may be
going again this year but had to pass last year. By the way, my CX7 was the
vintage SSB station at the Antique Radio Collectors of Illinois summer
confab again back in August. Good to see you here also, Bob. Wonder when and
where you hang out on 40M (I will have to use my Orion until I can get AT&T
out here to fix their rfi problem tho). Anyway, good to see activity here
again and hope to start having some QSO's with other S1's in 2010.
