Hi Fred,

I have had my MilSpec 1030 on the air just about every nite for the past
three weeks. It is one of the very few solid state rigs where I can listen
to the receive audio for long stretches and not get a headache. I hang out
on both 40 and 75 at night, but work has been too intense to do much on 20
during the day. My friend Bob W0YVA has installed a Rig Blaster with his
1030, is using software for both RTTY and PSK31 and seems to be having a
ball.

I have to agree...Year 2009 needed to go. Perhaps 2010 will be a huge
improvement for us all...personally, professionally and via sunspots!

Once again I forgot to send this in plain text.

Greetings to all Signal One owners and Happy New Year.
I'm really glad to see 2009 gone! Not a good year.
The number of know Signal Ones has grown a bit over the last year but
not by much.
If you have any additions or corrections to the Registry please let me
know.
Hopefully I will have more time to devote to some restorations this year
and to stay in touch with other S1 owners.
Band conditions have improved slightly and it may be time to restart the
net.
Perhaps even in the expanded 40 meter band.
As always any comments or suggestions concerning Signal Ones are greatly
appreciate.

Fred
