Folks

I have been going over my notes regarding a discussion I had with Rob
Sherwood a while back. We were discussing the IF and CW filters he
produced for CX7s and CX11s. I'll cover that in an article on my web
site in the near future.

I have a comment from him that I thought I'd like to pass on and see if
anyone had any more information or comments on it:

"We produced a clipper board that was based on our 7-SP and 4-SP speech
processors. (The 7-SP was for the Drake 7-line and the 4-SP was for the
T-4X line.) It was adaped to the Signal/One transceiver. The production
of the processor board was financed by a ham, Tim Peterson. That was
about 18 years ago." (That would make it 1982-1983.)

A search on QRZ shows 8 Petersons, none of whom appear to be old enough
to have funded this, i.e. they have KANXXX type call signs. A search of
the 1993 QRZ callsign database shows a half dozen.

I thought I'd put this out and see if triggers anyone's memories. It
would be interesting to get more information regarding this board.

73's

Bill
