A couple folk have contacted me re: Signal/One parts.  I am
interested and I have replied off-list.   As I said, I'm not sure
that the transformer is bad.  It's just that it "looks" like the
4CX350F was on an external power supply. 

Looks it will be a while before I have any free time.  I'm a
software engineer with 20 years of C, recently doing Macromedia
web-stuff and Lotus Notes Domino.  Work has gotten busy. 

The guarenteed dead CX7 going for $777 on the Bay was a surprise
but compared to the similarly guarenteed dead SB-313 for over $200,
who can figure? 

But then, studio apartments are a quarter million bucks just down
the street from me.  1 bedroom condo's are four hundred grand.

Anyway, I hope to get my CX7A working... as well as all the other
project radios.  Some day.  Some day.

I sure don't know how Bob Sullivan does it.  How does he find time
to rebuild a KW-1?  I've got a DX-60 that needs work.
