The capacitors Signal One used were off the shelf types. If you look a 
bit on the internet you should be able to locate them.

Yes, Signal One is gone. Icom, in their own inimitable way pretty well 
drove the last nails into Signal One by not working with Signal One on 
their "Mil Spec" Icom 781. Icom refused to sell Signal One parts and to 
give Signal One access to the needed software.  I guess you can't blame 
them. They want that high end money for themselves, and intend to get 
it from the new Icom 785.

While I feel that Icom does perform the very best build work of all the 
"Ham" quality builders, they do not and can not match the work done by 
Signal One. Looking at the time frame when the real 1030 was built, you 
cannot find anything else that even comes close in terms of performance 
and features and the build quality had not yet been matched. Keep your 
Signal One's. Icom can't touch 'em (though IMHO the CX7 left a lot to 
be desired).
