Hi Gary,

if you manage to find a manual/copy for your Milspec 1030, please check if it contains a schematic of the power transformer assembly, the main ps electrolytics and the wiring of the driver transistor for the pass transistors. Even my "complete" manual does not show the mentioned circuitry. I had some problems with the ps in my rig and had to regain the wiring by checking connections wire by wire. I'm also unable to find the wiring of the relay to short the ptt line for an external pa.

I have recently acquired a near mint Mil Spec 1030, with which I am 
very impressed. It works fine but I really want an owner's manual. If 
someone has one I could pay to have copied, please let me know about it.

Also, until I locate a manual, I need some assistance. Which of the 
many internal pots is the mike gain pot? also, how does one operate the 
noise blanker?
