Hello Mike,
Saw your CX7 note and just thought I'd say hi....
I have a CX7a and don't use it too much these days. Your right, it's a
keeper. I think I'll move it to my main operating position and put some
more QSO's on it....
We should setup a sked some time on 20m/15M AM and have a couple of old
buzzards....

Howdy Fern, Sorry for the late reply. I dropped your response into my save
folder AKA black hole and forgot to respond. Your asking price is to steep
for my wallet. I agree with you that the CW filters for the CX7's and 11's
are rare. I recently picked up a CX7 from a local fellow via EBay. He picked
it up from Charles Hugg last July on EBay. I've got it working and have been
removing a board at a time to inventory mods present and/or to correct hack
hamster repair work. It has the B power supply board and the early B LED
Display. It's in great cosmetic shape and will join my collection of keeper
radios. It's been a hoot working on this piece of radio history. The CX7
has been the most fun in performing a radio resurrection in the last two
years.
73's Mike Student
PS. Do you have docs for the LED board (early)?
