Also: you've got to first get it to a stable condition. Using an 8072, mine
didn't cut up (outside the cabinet) until I added RF drive. You cannot
expect to measure all the 8072s voltages without a tube in place, but with
no drive applied. Using the Motorola tube, it cut up right away-do drive...
I'm pretty sure. And w/o knowing that the static voltages on the tube are
all OK, you really cannot tell if everything's kosher. I might add that I
have inquired about that 8072-socket-RF compartment bottom shield, and
apparently they were supposed to be there.
