Hi John
The part is RT1. Page 6-16, 6-14. it is a surge suppressor. It is not =
a thermistor.
It absorbs the curent in rush when you turn on lthe s1. As it gets hot i=
ts resistance drops
bringing the rig up to full power.

Subject: [SignalOne] Signal One Thermistor
Reply-To: [email protected]
Hello - I thought I would try to get my rig back on the air. Turned it =3D
on - nothing. The thermistor (?) that is off the AC Power switch has =3D
ended up in a lot of crumbs. I think it is a thermistor, since that's =3D
what is left looks like, but I can't find it in my book. Can anyone =3D
tell me what it is and what the best value should be? I appreciate any =3D
info.
Thanks,=3D20
