nice to read from you there as well! I use a Milspec 1030 (not the ICOM 781 derivate but the last S/1 development) since quite a while and feel - after some mods - quite satisfied. To detect the last malfunction I found the documentation of the 1030 rather incomplete. There is no schematic to describe the power supply in full (no schematic of power transformer, the "big" electrolytics, the interconnection of drive transistors with pass transistors etc.). And there is no schematic of the interconnection of PA/PTT relay and PTT/VOX. My radio does not activate the PA while operating in Vox mode - in PTT mode everything is fine. 

Do you eventually have a supplement to the original documentation - either self drawn or official? All of the S/1 users I asked so far had no docs of these parts of the radio.

I'm the guy who wrote - many years ago - the S/1 Newsletters and Trouble Guide.
It was great fun and I'm glad these rigs are still around.

I'm looking for a CX11A - if anyone knows or has one for sale .....
