I too have one of the big shiny filters in my CX7B.  It is indeed the
most delux cw filter.  Paul Kollar tested it once and mentioned that it
had very low insertion loss and was as narrow as was specified. He was
quite impressed with it. Usually you need to add a small amplifier (see
TN11 on the web) to bring up the cw signal to the level of the ssb
signal. But that's usually not needed with this filter.
