I was looking over my pile of filters last night and was wondering if
anyone knew the marking scheme for the Tyco filters?

I have four filters

1.
---

 ------------------------------------
| C-F Networks Division Tyco, Inc. |
| Model 8.815-1.2 |
| 7004 |
 ------------------------------------

[blue case]

This is a 1.2 KHz wide filter. I assume the 7004 is a date code?

2.
---
 ---------------------
| Tyco Filters, Inc. |
| P/N 001-6060 |
| P/N 08-S0008-001 | (looks like the board #?)
| 7103 |
 ---------------------

[blue case]

3.
---

 -----------------------------------
| C-F Networks Division Tyco, Inc. |
| Model 8.8157-.4 | ( 400HZ? )
| 08-50004-001 | ( Yes, 5. Looks like they screwed
up on board number?)
| 7004 |
 -----------------------------------

[blue case]

4.
---

 ---------------------
| Tyco Filters, Inc. |
| Model 8.815-.4 | ( 400HZ?)
| 08-S0004-001 |
| 7251 |
 --------------------

[non-painted, i.e. silver color, case]

Anyone have any comments on the various colors or part numbers,
designations, etc?

I have a 400Hz CW filter in my CX7B that is quite a bit different from
the standard blue ones. The case is about 1" square and a little longer
than normal. I don't remember any markings at all on it.

73's

Bill
