[SignalOne] Another Orphaned Signal/One user of Milspec 1030CI

I have just found the Listserv, after using my 1030CI for several years =
now.  It has worked flawlessly, but recently blew a fuse (now fixed).  =
This led me to try to find the manufactururer after a  long period of time =
without looking.

Apparently Signal/One in Scottsdale is defunct, at least I cannot find =
anyone who knows of the identity or location of anyone.  A message in the =
digest here from a ham in Mexico suggests there were financial difficulties=
, and now silence.

Does anyone know the facts of the matter?  What has happened to the =
Signal/One company and its owners?

Lastly, does anyone know of someone who can repair the radio?  I have a =
Milspec 1030CI, s/n 0691588.  It is in good order now, but I have used the =
radio for some time, and don't want to be compelled to put it aside at =
some point in the future for lack of anyone who might be able to repair =
and align.  There must be others like me out there.

A message in this listerv dated December 2001 from Paul Kluwe, W8ZO, =
suggested his willingness to repair the Signal/One radio.  I am trying to =
contact Paul.

Any help would be appreciated...
