[SIERA] SIERA Reflector - closing down

Hi folks,

 

Due the total lack of usage of the SIERA reflector for communicating
information to our SIERA members and other interested parties, I am going to
terminate the SIERA mailing list. 
Looking over the past postings on the reflector, I find that we have had
only a couple postings and none of them were directly related to SIERA
business. Considering the fact that almost everyone has email and/or
internet connection and that we also have the SIERA website, the need for
the services offered by the subject mailing list, as well as a total lack of
mailings via this mail list, I am going to terminate it. However, before
doing so I want to let all of you know what is being done. I will give time
for any responses until Monday, May 12th. If there are no major concerns
voiced regarding the shutdown, I will terminate the service on Tuesday, May
13th.

 

The SIERA reflector has four administrators:

.         Don McRoberts - W3DRM

.         Dale Anderson - KV7S

.         Austin Cathey - KE7DZY

.         Dick Flanagan - K7VC

 

Please note, this will be the only notice sent out unless I receive
significant input from the membership to keep it running.

 

This same email message is being posted on the SIERA reflector so all have
visibility to it.
