Summer Amateur Radio General License Class


We are excited to announce the summer edition of the instructor-led Amateur
Radio General License upgrade course.

This 8 week course prepares students for the FCC Amateur Radio
General Class License. This class may be attended by those wishing to
upgrade their license from a Technician to General and those who have
passed by other means such as Ham Crams but want to learn a bit more on
operating on HF and other areas related to the General Class License.

Class begins *Monday**, June 10th* at *6pm.* Classes will meet Monday
nights with two 15 minute breaks and will generally run 3 hours. The
classes will be held at the Washoe Regional Emergency Operations Center at
5195 Spectrum Blvd, Reno.

There is a $25.00 registration fee which covers handout materials and
refreshments. The course book is an additional purchase and information is
available on the website to order the book.
