Penny (KG7MCH) teaches an elective at her school.  The elective?  Technician class amateur radio.

Today seven students took a especially arranged VE exam.  The result - seven new hams in Carson Valley.

Congratulations to the newbies.  Congratulations to Penny.

Many thanks to George (WW7E for quickly arranging a VE team.  And to that team - Caroll (NV7YL), Dale (KV7S), Don (W3DRM) and JD (AD7CD).
