[SIERA] After-Holiday Dinner

I want to thank everyone who was involved with putting on this year's 
after-holiday dinner.  Melissa and I had a great time, saw some old 
friends and made some new ones.

I also want to thank those who contributed raffle prizes.  I was able 
to share one of the two prizes I won with a new ham and the other (a 
very nice HF wattmeter/SWR bridge) will be put to very good use.

It has been over ten years since I was on the SIERA Board, since 
Melissa edited the newsletter and we both followed the Pony Express 
from Woodfords to Ibapha and back.  It especially felt good to see 
George, Dorothy, Dale and our new President, Dick Young, again.

SIERA has been through some unsettling times, but I have complete 
faith in Dick Young and his new Board of Directors' ability to 
re-create a club the Carson Valley can be proud of.
