Wow, what a program SIERA has for March 6.

Dave Fogerson is the Deputy Fire Chief/Training and Safety for East Fork Fire and Paramedic District.

A bit over a year ago (11/2008) Douglas County passed the mantle of Emergency Management to EFFPD and Dave was charged with the responsibility for EM Training, Planning and Exercises by District Chief Tod Carlini.

Dave already is Information Technology liaison working with the Douglas County Communications Division to oversee the dispatch, information technology and communications issues for EFFPD.

Dave is a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Nevada Fire Chiefs Association and Fire Department Safety Officers Association.

Dave is qualified as Incident Commander and is a Master Instructor.

That last one is a "official" designation but, having been in one of his classes for a week, I can attest to the fact that, official designation or not, Dave is one of the very best instructors you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing.

Spend half an hour with Dave and you'll be highly satisfied that, if he's the Incident Commander on an incident you're called out on, the situation is in the best of hands.

You can't get much closer to the subject of radio communications than this, and you won't find a better presenter than Dave Fogerson.

You can not afford to miss this provocative, information filled and most interesting program!
