"Scientist and Engineer's Guide to Digital Signal Processing" is considered, by some, to be the finest textbook on the subject. Fine print and 640 pages and, almost by magic, you're a graduate.
Of course, that's the really difficult way to learn the basics of DSP.
Far better you schedule your time to be with your fellow members on Saturday.
Mark Spencer, ARRL's Education and Technology Program Coordinator, will break it down into understandable terms.
You'll leave the session with a superior understanding of the subject. In fact, you'll be able to understand compressing real-world analog signals, by converting A to D and sampling it.
Mark will take a complex subject, break it down into understandable form, and send us home with knowledge that will help with our future communications skills.
Saturday at 1 PM. United Methodist Church in Gardnerville.
