SIERA had a fine meeting on Saturday. The Reno Weather Service provided an
interesting and enlightening program on Weather Spotting and the necessity
for spotters - hams make the best source.

We made it halfway through the discussion and have a promise for completion
at our September meeting - September 4th.

In the meantime we have our nets on Tuesday, 2m at 7:30 followed by the HF
net at 8:00.

Then, of course, we can look forward to Brad (WT6B) on Wednesday evening at
7:30 for the now famous "Watering Hole".

During the Saturday meeting a discussion was had concerning the possibility
of changing locations for our 4th Saturday social breakfast. The consensus
was that a change is in our best interest. Thus, on 8-28, we will meet at
Danny's (Ironwood and 395). These folks have promised us the whole end of
the restaurant (directly ahead when you walk in the door) and they will have
enough cooks on hand to give us some needed attention. It's worth a try and
it's important that we have a good turnout to get plenty of input.

Please plan on it - all of it.
