Field Day falls on June 27th and 28th.  This is shortly after the PEX
re-ride.  Would members of SIERA and friends like to have a field day this
year?  Bill K7NHP has located a site in Carson City, a large lot near a
church.  There is room for a few RV's, and an antenna farm.  We will discuss
the possibility at the next General meeting on the 19th of February.  If
there is enough interest and support, we will organize the event.  Again
think about what you as club members would like to do.

We have also received an invitation to join the "Sierra Nevada Unit" of the
Wally Byam Caravan Club International, the Airstream owners club.  They are
planning a rally at Sweetwater Summit on Thursday June 25 - Sunday June 26.
the SNU has several Amateur Radio Ops in their group.  Sweetwater Summit is
located on HW338 between Wellington, NV and Bridgeport, CA. Sweetwater
Summit is an NFS dispersed camping area with a lot of room.  Bryan said this
isn't likely a heavy duty contest operation, but more of a family social get
together where we can play with radios.  If interested, please contact Bryan
