...High wind watch in effect from late Friday morning through late
Friday night...

The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a high wind
watch...which is in effect from Friday morning through late
Friday night.

Strong gusty southwest to west winds will develop ahead of a cold
front Friday afternoon and continue into the evening. Sustained
winds of 15 to 30 mph with gusts as high 60 mph are possible by
Friday afternoon. The strongest winds are likely along Highway
395 from Susanville to Minden and in the Tahoe Basin. Ridge gusts
could reach as high as 90 mph.

A high wind watch means there is a potential for strong damaging
winds to affect the area. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts at weather.Gov/Reno.
