A high wind watch remains in effect from late Thursday night
through Friday afternoon.

South to southwest winds will increase across western Nevada
early Friday morning and strengthen throughout the day. Wind
gusts of over 60 mph are possible...with even higher gusts in the
foothills and wind prone areas. People in the watch area should be
prepared for strong and possibly damaging winds late Thursday
night and Friday. Take steps to secure loose items outdoors.

A high wind watch means there is potential for strong damaging
winds to effect the area which may make travel difficult or
dangerous.
