 Tod Carlini is the District Chief for the East Fork Fire and Paramedic
Districts.  Tod has been in the Fire service for over 30 years.  In 2004
Chief Carlini served as the Chairman of the Sierra Front Wildland Fire
Cooperators which is a key sponsor of the Living With Fire Program.

 Chief Carlini is giving the presentation "Living With Fire", at the SIERA
General meeting this Thursday the 20th of September 2007.  This presentation
provides wildland fire reduction tips for homeowners. These tips were
developed by Nevada's federal, state, and local firefighting agencies. The
presentation was produced by the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension
with assistance from the Media Center and KOLO News Channel 8. Handouts will
be made available as well as a brief overview of local resource capability
and mutual aid activation systems and agreements.

 The meeting starts at 7:00 PM at the Carson Valley Methodist Church, 1375
Centerville Lane, Gardnerville, NV.  Visitors are welcome, bring your
friends and neighbors.  This is a very informative subject and applies to
just about everyone living outside the citys of Reno and Las Vegas.
