[SIERA] Main Street Event Booth

This coming weekend  the 18th of August is the Main Street Event in Carson
Valley.  Saturday and Sunday we will have a booth setup to promote Amateur
Radio.  If you would like to come to Lampe Park to visit or hang out in the
booth to meet people please come on over.  We are planning to run VHF/UHF,
and possibly some packet or APRS.  If you are available, give me a call at
465-2330, or just show up.  Set up Friday evening August 17th between 5:00
and 7:00 PM.  We will start at 0700 hrs on Saturday till around 1630 or so.
Sunday starts about 0700 with breakdown around noon.  Come on over and bring
your handheld.  There should be lots of  custom cars and pickups to look at,
live music, food etc.  Come and enjoy
