[SIERA] Nominating Committee

Another year is winding down.  It seems just a short time ago, we had the elections for SIERA.  The election process has started again.  Per the SIERA bylaws, the President shall appoint 3 members not serving on the current standing board of directors to the nominating committee not later than October 1st. 



The following members have been appointed (volunteered) to the nominating committee.

Don McRoberts W3DRM

Kris Philbin KD7HFA. 



My guidance to the members of the committee is:  "Contact each of the 9 current board members, and see if they would like to be considered for another term. 



Solicit candidates from the membership that have an interest in serving as a member of the board. 



Make an informed decision after talking to the incumbents/candidates and prepare a slate of candidates to be presented to the membership at the November 16th general meeting." 



Nominations from the floor, is open at the November general meeting, as well as by mail received prior to the November general meeting.  Every Candidate's name will appear on the ballot.  The election takes place at the December general meeting.
