[SIERA] A BELATED THANK YOU

My wife and I attended the After Holidays Dinner in January. The food and
friendships were great and we had a nice time.

I was taken back though when their wasn't a mention of thanks for our
outgoing President Dick Young KD7JMR

In the past I have witnessed at these parties that the out going
President is recognized for his service to the club, and is usually given
a plaque or a certificate thanking him for his service.

Jan and I would like to thank Dick Young for his two years of outstanding
leadership of the Sierra Intermountain Emergency Radio Association.

Dick had a way of meeting people that would put everyone at ease. He
would make it a point at every meeting to greet everyone attending.

He is also one of the best communicators that I ever met. When he would
preside at our meetings members in attendance always gave him their full
attention, since they were part of the process, thus making it a great
meeting.

We always knew what was going on with Siera with the constant e mails
telling us what was happening, and of future events that the club was
going to get involved in.

Thank You Again Dick Young For A Job Well Done
