Hi all!
We're officially standing down from our alert. Douglas county is very
pleased with our response, even though we were never called out.
Thanks to all who were standing by. As far as I know, Sparks is still
not out of the woods. We might be asked to provide mutual aid to them
later today or tomorrow.
Here's a summary of the first DCART net, held last night. We had 17
check ins plus quite a few folks who couldn't get in for one reason
or another. Stations on my list include WB6W, KF6MBH, KD6RWF, AD7CD,
KA7AJQ, KJ7UK, KD7JMR, KD6OKI, KG7HH, W6DXJ, KD7NIR, KC7AGI, KV7S,
W7KJU, K6JNJ, KD7QDL and KD7UOC. Folks who tried to check in and were
unable to include KQ6FM, KB7NV, KB7BZE, KV7J, KC7AGI and KB7YFU. Thus
total participation in the net is 23 stations. This is an excellent
turn out for a new net! Thanks to all.
I expect that I'll do net control for the next few sessions as I
"fine tune" the net script. Several of you have volunteered to do net
control. Your support is very much appreciated. Once the net script
is a bit more stable than it is now, we'll start sharing the wealth.
Again, thanks to all who participated.
