The leaves are turning...nighttime temperatures are nearing and exceeding freezing...bike rides are over...road races are complete...the Summer and Fall visitors have gone.

All this makes it easier to negotiate our highways and byways.

I know it must be October because NDOT is starting to take in all their equipment and open the full width of the roads for locals use.  

Road repair and closure seems over...can snow flurries be far behind?

October 20th will bring us the NDOT action.  The October SIERA program is a PowerPoint presentation by NDOT.  Not just "where does all the equipment go in the Winter", but what we can look for in the upcoming months and years.

What happens to our valley when the by-pass opens to Clear Creek?
