Hello to all,

I spoke with Dorothy and Gary this evening, and Dorothy asked me to pass on 
the gist of the conversation.

A few days ago, Dick felt light-headed at home and fell, but did not lose 
consciousness.  Paramedics recommended taking him to Carson-Tahoe Hospital, where 
the first concern was about his heart.  Dorothy was concerned that he may 
have had a stroke, and they did a brain scan that showed no sign of a stroke.  
Dick was discharged to his home this morning (1/23).  He has had significant 
hallucinations today, and has been quite difficult for Dorothy and Gary to 
handle.

It is possible that his change in behaviour has been caused by a medication 
reaction, which should become clear in a few days because non-essential 
medications have been stopped.  Whatever the cause of these changes, Dick appears to 
be  quite ill at this point, and we hope for rapid changes toward recovery.  
Dorothy and Gary will appreciate our prayers and encouragement for Dick.
