[SIERA] SIERA Dinner

Dear SIERA members,

To all of you who made reservations for the SIERA dinner January 15, 2005, 
please accept my apologies for coming and finding the restaurant 
closed.  The only explanation I can offer is that the third Saturday of the 
month arrived sooner than the staff anticipated since January 1 fell on a 
Saturday this year and the restaurant normally is closed the first several 
weeks of the year.  It confused me, but I have copies of my correspondence 
requesting January 15, 2005.

While I am confident that Carole Conklin is expecting us January 22, I will 
confirm this as soon as possible and let everyone know.  If you made 
reservations for the 15th and are still willing to come, if possible, on

telephone number 775-265-4278.  If you couldn't come on the 15 but would 
like to do so if January 22 works out, please let me know.  As soon as we 
have definite information, we will let you know.  George will send checks 
to anyone who wants a refund.  I hope to have an answer by Wednesday afternoon.
