[SIERA] February meeting

This coming Thursday, the 17th, SIERA will be meeting at the Methodist Church in Gardnerville.

Our program will be a most appropriate presentation by Brian Brong, weather forecaster for the Reno office of the National Weather Service.

Brian has half a dozen years with NOAA, bouncing between Texas, Idaho and, for the last three years, here in Reno.  Prior to joining NWS he lived in Reno and attended UNR for his masters.

Brian will be giving us an update on the NWS Weather Spotters program, specifically explaining the aims, purposes and values.

If you're already a Spotter this will be a superb update.

If not a Spotter, Brian presents a wonderful opportunity to gather what it's about and, at your choosing, joining the ranks of the rich and famous.

Program begins promptly at 7, followed by our usual interesting, entertaining, robust, absorbing, gripping, provocative, fascinating, exciting, thought-provoking and dramatic business meeting!
