Hope you didn't miss the message concerning the one day Technician class in Reno on the 6th.  It is important to you and your club.

Surely you have a friend, neighbor or acquaintance that envies your ability to operate as a Ham.  Help him/her get that Technician ticket and join the fun.

SIERA does not have a class scheduled in the near future and your friend doesn't want to wait anyhow.  Direct him/her to this opportunity to advance.  It's unimportant whether you think a one day class is in the spirit of the game.  What is important is to give interested individuals an opportunity to share with you.  Have them take the class and then you can Elmer him/her into as great an operator as you are.  What could give you as much individual satisfaction?
