Join us for this year's EMCOMMWEST convention being held in Reno May 14th & 
15th, 2005.  Registration is only $10.00 for the Convention and will 
feature many sessions regarding emergency communications.  ($15.00 at the 
door, Online Registration closes May 10th)

Saturday Morning is Reno's only ham swap starting at 6:00 a.m.  All are 
welcome to swap their ham radio gear.  This will be held in the parking lot 
of the Holiday Inn.  The swap is free for swappers and attendees.

There will also be vendors on hand in the Holiday Convention Room, again 
this is free.  The scheduled vendors are:  Books, etc; Ventenna; Anderson 
Power Products; Starfire Tech; QRZed; and others.

This year's event will also feature a banquet with our guest speaker, 
Gordon West WB6NOA.  The banquet is $30.00 and will be held at the Holiday 
Inn Sky Room over looking downtown Reno.  This year's banquet theme is 
Western, serving a western-style Bar-B-Q.  So join us and wear your western 
wears...  there will be raffle for Banquet attendees only!  The raffle 
prize will be a SGC 211 Antenna Tuner.  (Register soon as space is limited!)

Lastly, there will again be a grand prize raffle at the end of the 
convention on Sunday Morning.  This year's raffle prize will be a Yaesu FT 
857.  Raffle tickers are only $1.00.
