...Snow Advisory in effect above 5000 feet until noon PST Saturday...
The National Weather Service Reno NV has issued a Snow Advisory.
Rain and snow will increase overnight as a cold front approaches the
area. Snow levels will start around 5000 feet and then begin to fall
around daybreak as colder air pushes into the area. Accumulations
of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the foothills at elevations above
5000 feet. Amounts up to an inch may occur on the valley floors
below 5000 feet as snow levels fall to valley floors prior to the
snow tapering off in the morning. Motorists should prepare for
hazardous driving conditions in areas outside the immediate valley
floor late tonight and in the morning.
