...Dense fog advisory in effect until noon PST this afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Reno NV has issued a dense fog
advisory.

Widespread dense fog has developed this morning in the Reno-Carson
City area. This includes areas from Stead to Gardnerville along
Highway 395 and Highway 50 from Carson City to Dayton. Motorists
should exercise extreme caution in these areas where slick icy roads
and visibilities less than a quarter of a mile can be expected.
Conditions are forecast to temporarily improve by midday.
