Look of operators Dmitry/RA2FA, Yuri/RM0F and
Alexander/RW3RN to be active
as RI0FA from Iturup Island (IOA AS-025; WW Loc. QN35WG;
Kuril Islands;
RDA: SL-14; RRA: RR-15-04), Russia, between August
11-16th. Activity will be
on 40-10m, using CW, SSB and the Digital modes.
PLEASE NOTE: Ownership is disputed between Russia and
Japan.
They plan to operate two stations: Transceivers Yaesu
FT-991A and Kenwood
TS-590; Antennas: 3-band trap verticals (40-20-15m and
30-17-12m). If
conditions permit: Inverted-V for 80m. Upon returning to
Sakhalin, they
plan to operate from several districts under the RDA
program until August
