3Y0L -- 2027: Peter I Island DXpedition (April 7th)

Peter I Island DXpedition 2027

We plan to activate Peter I Island in February 2027 with a team of 19
operators. We have signed a financial agreement with a private group
about sharing the cost for this DX-pedition.

Landing permit
The team received the landing permit for an amateur radio DXpedition to
Peter I Island from the Norwegian Polar Institute in April 2024.

DX-pedition Scheduled for February 2027
* Our 3Y0K container, carrying the expedition equipment, is being shipped
  to Texas for repacking before continuing on to Peter I Island.
* The team plans to spend approximately 20 days in the vicinity of the
  island, with about 14 days allocated for operations on the island itself.
* Departure is scheduled for February 2027.

ZL7IO -- Chatham Islands

Holger, ZL3IO, will once again be active as ZL3IO from Waitangi, Chatham
Islands, between May 25th and June 4th. He plans to be active in the CQWW
WPX CW Contest (May 30-31st) as a Single-Op/All-Band entry. QSL via DK7AO.

QSL's/Confirmations:
Logs will be uploaded to LoTW immediately after returns to New Zealand
from his trip. If you want a paper QSL the only source is via DK7AO!
He has no interest in direct mail and he doesn't need your QSL card.
Please save the planet and use Clublog's OQRS.

QSO Statistics:
ClubLog: Expedition Charts - ZL7IO.
He has Starlink internet on the island and use ClubLog livestream when
operating, except for contests which will be uploaded afterwards.

EG1912T (SES) — Spain (Reminder April 8th)

Look for special event station, EG1912T , to be active between April
10-15th. This is a special Titanic Memorial station to commemor-
ates all those passengers aboard the Titanic on April 14th, 1912.
At 11:40 p.m. GMT, the ship struck an iceberg. This collision caused
the Titanic to sink at 02:20 GMT on 15 April.
The event will take place from 00:00 UTC on April 10th, 2026, (the
date on which the Titanic set sail from Southampton) until 23:59 UTC on
April 15th, 2026 (the date on which it sank).
Activity will be on all bands and modes, with a special emphasis on
telegraphy.
All stations that contact EG1912T in CW will receive a special card
for telegraphy QSOs only.
QSL via the Bureau, LoTW or eQSL.

M0OXO QSL Card dispatch update (April 7th)

To try and cut down on emails, here is an update on the current Qsl
dispatch times:

KP5/NP3VI Cards designed and at Print Shop. I estimate 1st week in May
for dispatch.

3Y0K Bouvet & XX9W Macao still awaiting media for design so again,
(dependant upon Team Policy for 3Y0K) but mid May or early June for
these two.

AU7RS Lakshadweep should have arrived from India last week but nothing
arrived as yet. I am hopeful they will be out at the latest next Monday
(13th), if they arrive in the coming days.

XX9W Macao SAT & Donors (April 7th)

Well, the SAT logs caused issues with LOTW and it's taken time to resolve
it, thanks for your patience. A huge thanks to Liu BG5CZD for the help in
getting this right. All the SAT_NAME should now be corrected and matches
on LOTW I hope are now good.

I was recently made aware of the several other Donors to Paypal and ones
that didn't supply s callsign. I believe that I have now found all the
Callsigns and LOTW has been sent.

Rolando, 9A3MR, reports: "The Solomon Islands Telecommunications Commission
(TCSI) has officially assigned the callsign H49A to our expedition.
  This choice is significant, as it commemorates the 15th anniversary of
the mission of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul of Croatia
in Buma (Malaita Island) and represents the friendship between our two
nations. We have also decided to allocate a portion of the expedition's
donations directly to the mission's charitable projects."
