Help Defend YOUR Frequencies

ARRL advocates for you every day—in Washington and internationally. But, we need your help.

Now, more than ever, there have been active efforts to restrict and change access to amateur radio spectrum. There is a call to rewrite the federal code. Corporate interests want to auction radio spectrum. This is why the ARRL keeps vigilant watch and maintains key relationships in Washington, with regulators and lawmakers, to protect amateur radio.

The costs to keep this fight and protect your spectrum are staggering. Membership dues can’t do it alone. And that’s why we need your support. ARRL has:

  • Filed comments to Protect the 70-Centimeter Amateur Band
  • Held strong to Defend the 902-928 MHz Amateur Radio Band
  • Responded to the FCC Public Notice “In Re: Delete, Delete, Delete” recommending:

✓ Symbol Rate and Bandwidth Limits on LF and VHF/UHF be removed

✓ Modernization of Technician Privileges

✓ Modernization the 80/75 Meter Subband Divisions

✓ Replacement of Obsolete Digital Code Limits

✓ Adoption of WRC-03 Third Party Rules

✓ Amplifier Drive Modernization

✓ Protection of non-current Personal Information and more
