Hi DXers!

I look forward to seeing as many members as possible at the Florida Medical Center this coming Wednesday.

Much discussion in prior meetings was centered around members attending the meetings IN PERSON.  One of the drivers was to have an interesting presentation at every meeting.  I have been diligently working on making this happen.  We are planning on having interesting presentations at every meeting this year!

I'm very excited about our presentation at this upcoming meeting.  Our member, Carlos N4IS, is going to present his work on some super selective audio speakers that make copying very weak CW possible.  Many of our members have seen some of his work and have requested more info.  The presentation will be IN PERSON and I recommend members to come to the meeting IN PERSON, to witness the advantages that these very narrow response speakers can do to improve weak signal CW copy.  We will attempt to get the results on Zoom, but being in person is guaranteed to be a better experience.

Of course, I continue to encourage as many as possible to make all of the meetings IN-PERSON if possible.  Much discussion has been about how to deal with the "Zoom Effect."

As stated before, we will continue the meetings on Zoom as well, since more members are moving out of the area and/or having health issues with driving at night.

The Networking session starts at 7:00 PM (or whenever you get here)
The "Official" meeting starts at 7:33 PM as usual.

When you arrive you will need to show photo ID at the front security desk.  Upon entering, proceed to the main hall and turn right.  After turning right, the Auditorium is at the end of the hall on the right.
