SFDXA Friends,

DCARC is participating in the Florida QSO party from our club station in Davie FL this weekend and you are all invited to join us!

We will have 3 stations on the air, your choice of operating phone or CW and you can bring your own radio or use the club's IC-7300 (we have 3). We have Heil headsets and foot switches, bring your own CW key or paddles (or your own headset too).

Our antennas are a 20m/15m/10m 3el beam with a triplexer and filters so we can use all 3 bands at once and an OCFD Vee for 40/20/10/6. If the beam is not working out you can try the Vee on 20/10 (sorry, only 1 band at a time on the OCFD). FCG limits us to the bands listed.

The logger is n1mm+ on a laptop and each station has a 2nd 27" wide 2K monitor.

We will operate the full hours both Saturday (noon EDT to 9:59:59PM EDT) and Sunday (8AM EDT to 5:59:59PM EDT).

We will have food both days with W6TNY cooking for us. Burgers, dogs, breakfast, etc.

We have 4 prizes, $25 gift cards to DX Engineering. They will be drawn from raffle tickets, you get one raffle ticket for each hour you operate. Only those operating (either day) will get raffle tickets.

We are starting at 9AM Saturday, setup should be complete already but let's verify everything. Tony W6TNY and I worked on the antennas yesterday and today, all are working. You can arrive at any time.

You do NOT need to operate to join us! Come and have some food and meet the guys -- we have multiple people in both clubs.
