NCDXF Press Release

NCDXF is pleased to announce that we have been investing in the Rig in a

Box, RIB for some time. George, AA7JV has led this with the first iteration

and constant evolution of technology as he travels around the world firing

up several DXCC entities. N5J on Jarvis was the latest successful imple-

mentation and the next DXpedition will be the St Peter and Paul Rocks this

autumn.

Gregg, W6IZT, has stepped up with his version using the Elecraft radios

called the NexGenRiB2. After his proposal to NCDXF, we have funded this

project. This first use will be the PJ6Y DXpedition.

The NextGenRIB2, which are fully pre-assembled stations, are available

from the NCDXF to any qualified DXpedition. These RIBs streamline station

setup, ensuring a faster and hassle-free experience, and significantly

enhance the success of DXpeditions. To inquire about using the NextGenRIBs

for your upcoming DXpedition, please contact the NCDXF.

The mission of NCDXF is to provide necessary financial support for well-

organized DXpeditions to desirable DXCC entities and to support advances

in DXpeditioning skills, technology, and infrastructure. Those funds come
