KH7AL/KH9 -- Wake Island (Update Jan.19th)

Alan will operate as KH7AL/KH9 while on Wake Island
during his days off
from work until February 28th. He welcome working many
DX from this prime
spot in the Pacific. This is also a POTA location
(UM-0009, Wake Island
National Wildlife Refuge), Grid Square RK39, ITU Zone
65, CQ Zone 31,
IOTA OC-053, DXCC Wake Island.

As for his equipment on Wake, Alan has his Yeasu FT-891,
and several
dipole antenna options (10, 15, 17, 20, 30, & 40m),
SSB or CW only.
Please be patient and courteous and he will do his best
to work everyone
he can.
QSL: QRZ primary, Direct SASE, LoTW, or by the
Bureau.
When and where to find him on the air?
His days off from work are on Monday's Wake Island time
(GMT +12).
Alan likes to operate in the mornings before it gets too
warm or in
the late evening to work into Europe. Watch: 1930-2130z
or 0800-0930z

**Subject to change due to sudden tropical downpours,

rogue waves, hermit crab rebel uprisings, and of course,
work.
