There has been some confusion about the payment of dues via PayPal.  The PayPal account is set up and working.  However, we still need to add a link on the website,

Members can pay the dues to "[email protected]"

I dropped by the Florida Medical Center and spoke to Doreen about our meeting dates.  The hospital has changed hands again!  I was getting no response to emails since her email has changed!  FMC is now owned by HSA Hospitals. She said that there should be no problems keeping the meetings there and I gave her our 2025 schedule.

Our meeting dates for 2025 are:
    January 8, 2025
    March 5, 2025
    May 7, 2025
    July 2, 2025
    September 3, 2025
    November 5, 2025

I also dropped by the club station a week ago and noticed a problem with the Ameritron amp.  Receive signals drop many dB as soon as the amp is put into operate.  I removed it from the station and placed it on the bench and to take a look.  There is a problem with the QSK board. Yesterday, I picked up the amp and I will be delivering it to Chris VE3NGW for repair.  He says he's very familiar with those QSK problems and it should be a simple repair.  In the mean time K4FK is barefoot, with the exception of 6 meters.  I brought my AL-80 to the shack which is a 6 meter conversion which puts out only about 400 watts reliably.  My recommendation is to sell the AL-82 and replace it with an amp that is remoteable.
