Special Hanukkah 2024 Activity
The Israel Association of Radio Communication (IARC) is running two special event stations celebrating the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.
Our special stations 4X8NER and
4Z8NER will be on the air during Hanukkah for 8 days starting December 25, 2024, through to January 2, 2025.
'Ner' means candle in Hebrew, and according to the tradition we light candles on each of the 8 holiday evenings (one candle for the first evening, 2 for the second, and so on).
Eligibility for an award:
Europe - working eight QSOs with 2 special stations on different days, bands or modes.
Outside of Europe - working four QSOs with 2 special stations on different days, bands or modes.
