I noticed that my LOTW application, submitted in early July, has finally been processed after a 5-month turnaround to process just 30 electronic QSOs. Now, I’ll be curious to see when my DXCC Challenge plaque, which I ordered, will arrive—perhaps I’ll receive it before my first SS check clears.

This highlights the need for the ARRL to prioritize IT and management improvements. The organization would greatly benefit from a leadership team that approaches these areas with the urgency and professionalism they require, in order to better serve its members.
